Who We Are

Duplixo ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website at duplixo.com. We are an independent editorial resource that researches and publishes verified alternatives to luxury products. For privacy enquiries, contact us at privacy@duplixo.com.

Data We Collect

We collect limited data necessary to operate the site. When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address and the date of subscription. We do not collect payment information directly. When you use our site, our hosting and analytics providers collect standard server log data: IP address (anonymised), browser type, pages visited, and referral source. We use Vercel Analytics (privacy-preserving, no cookies) and Vercel Speed Insights.

How We Use Your Data

Email addresses collected via newsletter subscription are used only to send editorial updates about new product reviews and verified price drops. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes. Analytics data is used in aggregate to understand which content is most useful to readers — we do not build individual user profiles.

Affiliate Links & Third-Party Cookies

Duplixo participates in affiliate programmes operated by Impact, LTK, Rakuten Advertising, and Amazon Associates. When you click an affiliate link, the respective network may place a tracking cookie on your browser to attribute any resulting purchase. These cookies are governed by the privacy policies of those networks. We are required to disclose this under FTC guidelines and applicable advertising standards.

Cookie Notice

GDPR / CCPA Notice (effective March 2026): Duplixo uses cookies in two ways. (1) Strictly necessary cookies: our hosting provider (Vercel) sets session cookies required for the site to function. These cannot be opted out of. (2) Affiliate tracking cookies: when you click a product link, the affiliate network (Impact, LTK, Rakuten, or Amazon) may set a first- or third-party tracking cookie to attribute your purchase to Duplixo. These are placed by the network, not by us, and are governed by each network's privacy policy. We do not use advertising cookies, remarketing pixels, or behavioural profiling cookies. We do not set any cookies for analytics — we use Vercel Analytics, which is cookieless and privacy-preserving by design. If you are located in the EEA, UK, or California, you have the right to withdraw consent for non-essential cookies at any time. Because we do not control affiliate network cookies directly, the most effective method is to use your browser's privacy settings or a content blocker to prevent third-party cookies from affiliate domains.

Your Rights

If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or California, you have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@duplixo.com. We will respond within 30 days. To unsubscribe from our newsletter, use the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or contact us directly.

Data Retention

Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe. Server log data is retained for a maximum of 90 days. We do not retain data longer than necessary for the purpose it was collected.

Changes to This Policy

We will notify newsletter subscribers of material changes to this policy at least 30 days before they take effect. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
