Duplixo is reader-supported. If you click a product link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission from the retailer at no extra cost to you. This commission is what allows us to research, test, and publish free editorial content.
How Our Affiliate Relationships Work
Duplixo participates in affiliate programmes operated by Impact, LTK (LikeToKnowIt), Rakuten Advertising, and Amazon Associates, among others. When you click a “Check Availability” or product link and complete a purchase, we may receive a referral commission from the retailer. The commission is paid by the retailer — not added to your price.
We disclose affiliate links at the point of use via an inline notice at the top of every product page. This page serves as our site-wide standing disclosure in accordance with FTC guidelines (16 CFR Part 255), the UK ASA/CAP Code, and the EU Consumer Rights Directive.
What This Means for Our Recommendations
Affiliate status never precedes editorial decision
We only join an affiliate programme for a product after it has passed our editorial process. A product cannot be included in exchange for an affiliate arrangement. The commission is a consequence of passing our process — never a condition of it.
We list non-affiliate products
If a product scores highly enough and no affiliate programme exists for it, we publish it anyway. Our database includes products for which we earn zero commission. These are treated identically in our scoring and editorial coverage.
Match Scores are not for sale
Brands and retailers cannot purchase a higher match score, improved placement, or positive editorial coverage. Our 1–10 scoring methodology is applied identically regardless of commercial relationship.
Samples do not guarantee coverage
Occasionally brands provide physical samples for testing. We accept samples to improve our editorial accuracy. Sample provision is noted where it occurred and does not influence our score or recommendation.
