PDRN

Definition

Polydeoxyribonucleotide. A DNA fragment derived from salmon sperm cells, used in regenerative medicine and advanced skincare. PDRN activates A2A receptors on skin cells, triggering accelerated healing, collagen synthesis, and anti-inflammatory cascades. It is the 2026 gold standard for regenerative skincare actives.

Why it matters for dupe shopping

PDRN is present in several Korean skincare formulas at $30–$80 (Isntree, Anua, Cosrx) vs $180–$400 in Western medical-grade creams. Check INCI lists for 'Polydeoxyribonucleotide', 'PDRN', or 'Salmon DNA Extract'. Concentration is rarely disclosed — INCI position (closer to the top of the list = higher concentration) is the only proxy available without lab access.
